TAP/TAPEX for MK II P/L

  • Intercom keypad and Channel A are by default TAP (Incoming) channels.

  • Channel B is by default TAPEX (outgoing) channel.

  • The MKII Plus/Lite system generates a single 5 digit TAP code.

  • This code must first be used for entry before it can be used for exit.

  • If the resident requires only an exit code, the resident will use the word TAPX and the amount required in the SMS to the intercom.

FRX Relay

  • The FRX relay is located in the TAP TAP keypad housing.

  • Selecting this relay on Comb Portal Website disables the intercom relays.

  • The FRX relay will always be triggered if the PIN, TAP and TAPEX codes are entered on the TAP TAP keyboard.

  • The FRX relay cannot be triggered by a DTMF, remote,CLI or PIN/TAP's entered on the intercom keypad.
