Upgrade Instructions
Step | Action |

1 | Plug the scanner into a PC with the upgrade file. The scanner will be displayed in File Explorer as “C71”. File name: comb-licensescanner-v1.61-KleinBron.apk |
2 | Copy the file to Internal storage\Download |
3 | Touch and hold the Comb Scanner Icon and drag the Comb icon to the “Unistall” icon. or Navigate to the System → Apps → Comb License Scanner → Uninstall. |
4 | Touch the “File Manager” icon and navigate to “Internal storage\Downloads” |
5 | Tap on the “comb-licensescanner-v1.61-KleinBron.apk “ entry and select the “Install” option. |
6 | After the app is installed, tap the “Open” button and select “Allow” for the next 3 permission requests. |
7 | Login in using the assigned username and PIN. |
8 | Confirm version number tapping on the three dots in the top right hand side of the screen. Version: 1.6.61 |
9 | Confirm that the new flow is working: App to request scanning of both driver and vehicle license’s in any order. Then enter the unit number. |
